Item Description

Gorgeous sprays of tiny sparkly, gemmy, emerald-green malachite needles have pseudomorphed a sculptual jackstraw cluster of barite blades on this very showy two-sided piece from the famous Mashamba West Mine. Barite pseudos are rarer, than well-known similar looking azurite pseudos from this noted locale. These came out in the early 1990s, along with a limited number of fine barite specimens. Choice material from the Ted Bartels Collection. BETTER in person.
