Item Description
A beautifully balanced and eye-catching aesthetic display specimen of this world-famous material from the Elmwood Mine. A very sharp, lustrous, incredibly well-formed, 10.8 cm, soft golden color gemmy, doubly-terminated, twinned scalenohedral crystal of Calcite sits beautifully on the underlying matrix. A smaller secondary Calcite makes for a nice touch. There are a few tiny rough spots on the Calcite, but it's still very eye-catching and good sized for the material. A showy overall specimen that really stands out and sits beautifully without the aid of a base or clay. Valued at $1,500 in the inventory.
