Item Description

When it comes to gem pegmatite crystals Pakistan is the most productive country for specimens in the last 20 years. Some of the very finest quality Aquamarine, Fluorite, Topaz and Apatite specimens come from the various pegmatites in the high mountains of Pakistan including the pieces from the famous Nagar region. This locality has produced some of the finest quality pink Apatites specimens in recent years. This piece features a predominant, sharp, glassy, gemmy, itense pink color hexagonal crystal of Apatite that is aesthetically set atop bladed silvery Muscovite with minor white Albite. The Apatite measures 2.6 cm at its longest dimension, and it's not actually damaged, it simply has a few areas near the termination of interrupted growth where another mineral oncer grew. It's a very attractive, good quality gem crystal display specimen from this famous Pakistani pegmatite locality. Priced at $2,000 in the inventory based upon size, color and quality of the Apatite. BETTER IN PERSON, hard to photograph.
