Item Description

These recently discovered Brookite specimens are some of the finest quality "Alpine-type" Brookites in the world. Reminiscent of the finest TRUE ALPINE Brookite specimens from the Alps, these crystals are just as sharp, lustrous, gemmy and colorful. If these specimens from Pakistan were found in the Italy or Switzerland, they would be worth a considerable amount of money to knowledgable collectors (if you could even get a European collector to part with one). This particular specimen features several very good quality, razor sharp, lustrous, tabular Brookite crystals measuring up to 1.1 cm very aesthetically on matrix. When backlit, the Brookites shows an intense flame red hue with classic internal black "phantoms" which are iconic and highly desirable for the species. A wonderful and colorful specimen of a species that is not often seen in fine quality crystals like this. Valued at $600 for the size, quality and aesthetics. No damage to the main crystals, but a few little contacts to minor crystals keeps the piece from being 100% perfect.
