Item Description

A gorgeous Fluorite specimen from the famous Ruyuan Mine featuring GEM, very lustrous, incredibly sharp, and well-formed beautiful green color cubic crystals with wonderful dodecahedral modifications on the edges which are intergrown to create a very attractive display specimen. The back of the piece hosts small prismatic crystals of Quartz and cubic Pyrite. The luster and superb transparency of the Fluorites really stand out in my mind. BETTER IN PERSON - HARD TO PHOTOGRAPH! The piece is in excellent shape (only a couple tiny Wilbers on the display side), and a few spots around the periphery where it was removed from the pocket wall. Price at $1,800. The piece comes with a FREE custom lucite base for display! Ex Dr. Stephen Smale Collection.
