Garronite is an extremely rare zeolite group mineral, only discovered in 1960. The rich specimen features glassy, transparent, colorless crystals embedded on four sides of the weathered basalt matrix. Some of the tetragonal crystals exhibit the banded form diagnostic to the species. Very rare and rarely available material in this quality and richness. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection. Ex Harry Foy Collection of Belfast, and comes with a very descriptive handwritten note on the species on 21.8 x 12.6 cm (8.1 x 5.0 in) paper.
