Item Description

Numerous yellowish Adamite crystals display prominently on this miniature from Tsumeb. Much of the display surface is festooned with glistening, 1 to 3 mm, well-formed Adamite crystals. Adamite was not recognized at Tsumeb until about halfway through its mining life and then several varieties were documented. These bright Adamite crystals stand out on the red-brown, Hematite-stained breccia matrix. A very good example of the species from Tsumeb for this strange style from the third oxide zone (according to label).
