This is a lovely specimen of these intensely colored copper-bearing Adamite specimens from the famous Lavrion Mining District in Greece. This historic area has seen mining activity for thousands of years, and specimens are still being found to this day. This attractive miniature display features a coverage of sparkly, bubbly, rich blue-green colored Copper-bearing Adamite partially coated by drusy white Quartz on matrix. The display side is in excellent condition and the little Adamite "balls" look even better when backlit, as the color just explodes. This particular hue is rarely seen in Adamite, so don't miss out on these specimens as few were found, and who knows if more will come out again in the future.
