Item Description

A shockingly large 2.0 cm spray of sharply terminated, gem, allanite-(Ce) blades is very aesthetically set in the blocky euhedral to granular dolomite matrix from this classic large open pit talc quarry. Trimouns is famous for numerous exotic REE species. The zone of mining here is now gone, and these French REE species are fast becoming irreplaceable classics. That's blue tack on the back of the piece. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this at $600 over ten years ago. Valued today at $900-1200 for crystal quality and size.
