Item Description

Classic, sharp and aesthetic pair of pristine Almandine-Spessartine Series Garnets from the skarn deposits of Little Cahuilla Mountain. The textbook trapezohedrons are lustrous mottled reddish-brown with a few beautiful areas of reddish-orange gemminess. The specimen was collected by the Gochenours. Ex Bill Larson Garnet Collection and long on display at his Pala International shop in Fallbrook. A very fine floater pair from the locale.
