Item Description

Outside of Colorado, some of the most well-known Amazonite specimens from any US locality are those from the Zapot Pegmatite. This locality is obviously best known for its attractive Topaz crystals, which are some of the best from the United States, but you will see attractive Amazonite on the market from time to time. This piece hosts This piece features several sharp, well-formed pale blue-green Amazonite crystals which are associated with a handful of thin acicular prismatic black Tourmaline (Schorl) crystals. The largest Amazonite measures 1.3 cm long. A really cool display piece of NON-Colorado Amazonite from this famous locality near Hawthorne.
