Item Description

A sculptural and very showy amethyst in agate specimen from Poland and the Dave Stoudt Collection. The unusual, sliced and polished nodule has a beautiful core of vivid purple amethyst and is surrounded by banded agate. The overall specimen looks like a mushroom with a fat stalk or a Coleus plant leaf on a stem. This is the first amethyst/agate I have seen from Poland and this locale. I have been told they are uncommon in this quality. Dave purchased the piece directly from the collector, while living in Poland.
