Item Description

The Quartz crystals from King County are renowned for their fantastic size, quality and range of habits. This thumbnail specimens is a razor-sharp, WATER CLEAR, soft purple color (and colorless) scepter habit crystal free of matrix. The termination itself is undamaged, but one side of the crystal has a conchoidal fracture and obviously the base of the crystal has some separation marks where it used to be intergrown with additional Quartz crystals. Wonderful classic material from the Pacific Northwest. A good reference piece for any fan of gem crystals, thumbnails or worldwide Quartz.
