Item Description
A beautiful old-time historic specimen of Anapaite from the type locality for the species in Russia. This piece features a rich coverage of beautiful olive-green colored, lustrous, translucent crystal aggregates of this well-known calcium iron phosphate species sitting on oxidized matrix. No major damage that I can find anywhere, and the crystals look beautiful up close. You almost never see these on the market anymore. From the collection of Dr. Vasco Trancoso, a medical doctor and mineral collector from Portugal.
