A truly impressive specimen of this incredibly hard to find material from an unlikely locality. This long, silky specimen of dark blue-green colored Antigorite var. Picrolite from the Delight Quarry in Maryland is not only big, but it's showy! It has character and a beautiful form, and it's not a simply "chunk". These pieces are rare enough on the market, but to find one as eye-catching as this is a big deal. It is almost fibrous in nature, but still rather firm. The piece comes with a FREE custom acrylic base for easy display. Minerals from Maryland are remarkably hard to find on the market, especially if you don't live on the East Coast of the US, and the importance of a large and significant piece like this is only amplified by the fact that it's from such a rare locality.
