Apophyllite and Stilbite on Heulandite (Feist Coll.)

An outstanding and aesthetic combination zeolite specimen from Lonavala. The highlight of this very fine piece is the striking, 2.1 cm, blocky, pretty mint-green apophyllite crystal with serrrated terminations. This cutie is gemmy, water-clear to translucent and is elegantly perched on the sculptural basalt matrix covered with starkly contrasting, sparkly, terra cotta-red, heulandite microcrystals. The amazing, centrally placed, 1.3 cm, water-clear, mint-green to colorless, smaller apophyllite and the pearlescent, stilbite blades finish out this beautiful combination piece.
