Beryl is found around the world in almost every color of the rainbow. Aquamarine is the blue variety of Beryl, and is typically the most commonly seen variety on the market. This particular gem is a beautiful pale blue Aquamarine from the Brazilian gem deposits. This stone is virtually eye clean with an "Oval Brilliant" cut. It's a decent size stone for a pendant if you so wish, but it would also stand alone as a nice little single stone in a gem box.
