Item Description
When it comes to crystallized specimens of Aquamarine, Pakistan is the most productive country for specimens in the last 20-30 years. It goes without saying that some of the very finest quality Aquamarine specimens come from the various pegmatites in the Pakistani mountains, including the pieces from the famous Nagar region. This piece hosts a group of sharp, gemmy and lustrous Aquamarine crystals with minor associated bladed silvery Muscovite. The glassy, limpid to translucent crystals are beautiful light blue color and look great in sunlight and indoor lighting. The piece is partially re-crystallized ("re-healed") on the back, but it's not a complete "floater", as it's contacted on the front. Still a pleasing example of these classic Aquas from this famous locality.
