Item Description

A displayworthy and uncommon 360-degree small combination from older 1990s finds at Mount Malosa. Impressive, highly lustrous and striated, jet-black, prismatic, terminated Arfvedsonite crystals, to 3.7 x 3.3 cm, are artistically set on a random-like pattern on the Microcline matrix. One side is nicely complemented by two clusters of sharp, lustrous, brown, octahedral Zircon crystals, to 8 mm. Arfvedsonite is a Amphibole Group species. The zircons fluoresce yellow and the microcline fluoresces red. A very fine combination species from the locale. Ex Robert Nowakowski Collection No. 390 and valued at $600.
