Item Description
Delicate and quite lovely, this Aurichalcite is from a previouly unlisted locality in Utah. The layer of Aurichalcite is composed of sharp, acicular crystals that grow up from the matrix, and the color is a beautiful, Robin's Egg blue. Very similar to specimens found at Tecoma Hill, this is a quite unusual, and aesthetic, miniature. From the Gary Weaver collection, which had a very good systematic collection of Utah minerals.
