Here we have a very elegant Azurite stalactite accented by a little Malachite from Morocco. This colorful spire measures nearly four inches in length and is completely surrounded by small, scintillating rich royal blue Azurite rosettes sprinkled with small green Malachite crystals and crystal clusters. The Azurite mini-clusters are from 2 to 4 mm across and provide texture to the stalactite and the bright green, 1.5 to 2.5 mm Malachite crystals provide ideal color contrast! These combinations from this locality are some of the most distinctive and beautiful Azurite and Malachite combinations available! There are lots of localities in the world where these two minerals are found together, but the pieces from here have produced some truly iconic and eye-catching examples. This small cabinet piece is highly aesthetic and there is no damage!
