Item Description
The Azurites from Morenci are certainly among the finest ever found in any locality in Arizona, and are only second in terms of quality to the classic specimens from Bisbee. This specimen is a fairly thick, semi-"rose"-shaped group consisting of medium blue color, sharp tabular crystals of Azurite, free of matrix. The piece is crystallized on the front and back, though the piece is contacted partially, so the specimen is not what I would call a complete "floater". A great piece for any fan of secondary ore minerals, worldwide Azurite or minerals of Arizona. Priced at $750 in the inventory. You don't see many good Morenci Azurites on the market today.
