Azurite with Malachite ex K. Williams

Incredibly saturated blue color combined with sparkle and luster make this a phenomenal miniature, which would have come out in the circa 2010 heyday of the best azurites from Milpillas. Thre large, fat crystal is to 3 cm tall, and is pseudo-triangular, just a really dramatic shape, in person. The secondary crystal pointing down, or to the right if displayed horizontally as Keith did, is just under 3 cm. This is a perfectly balanced miniature, with superb aesthetics and no damage, valued $2500-plus. It is stunning in person. Yes, there are many out there...but something about the combination of color, shape, contrast on this piece, in the miniature size class, makes it stand out.
