Item Description

Incredibly saturated blue color combined with sparkle and luster make this a phenomenal miniature, which would have come out in the circa 2010 heyday of the best azurites from Milpillas. Thre large, fat crystal is to 3 cm tall, and is pseudo-triangular, just a really dramatic shape, in person. The secondary crystal pointing down, or to the right if displayed horizontally as Keith did, is just under 3 cm. This is a perfectly balanced miniature, with superb aesthetics and no damage, valued $2500-plus. It is stunning in person. Yes, there are many out there...but something about the combination of color, shape, contrast on this piece, in the miniature size class, makes it stand out. Keith Williams personal collection (Keith is a retired dealer, known for his taste in aesthetic miniatures, USA classics, and Colorado material. He was one of the first to bring out Bulgarian material in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and a dealer for perhaps 50 years. )
