Item Description

This piece came labeled simply as coming from "Tiger", and I don't know if it's specifically from the Mammoth-Saint Anthony Mine or a lesser locality like the Mohawk Mine. With that said, it's a very impressive full cabinet sized display specimen multiple alternation layers of sparkling midnight blue Azurite and soft green to bluish-green Malachite. I honestly can't remember seeing a piece quite like this from Tiger as it's such a RICH specimen with a lot of Azurite and Malachite for the locality. Priced at $850 in our inventory. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#29). Kay was a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics. She nearly lived 100 years from April 1920 - March 2020.
