Item Description
A few bright red tiny cinnabar crystals are included in very glassy, parallel-growth, transparent barite crystals on this classic specimen from a famed German locale - the Clarashall Mine. The oxide-tinted crystals have sharp beveled edges and the trivial edgewear is a very modest detraction on this two-sided piece. This barite mine closed in the early 1970s. Excellent material from the Jaime Bird Collection.
