Item Description

A striking, dense nest of gemmy, yellow Baryte blades from Cerro Warihuyn, Peru. The jackstraw arrangement of the pretty, lustrous blades adds depth to the piece, and the internal crazing on the larger blades add a great deal of character and visual interest. The largest Baryte crystal is 2.4 cm on edge, and they are in very good condition. Aesthetic and highly representative material from the limited finds of around 2005, none have come out since. Superb for the size class and style, this is another excellent specimen from the Rossi collection.
