Item Description

A classic tabular prism of greenish-blue, glassy, transparent to translucent barite with satin lustre faces from Stoneham. A textbook chisel termination crowns this pristine 360-degree crystal. Barite has been known from this classic Colorado locale since the 1870s and this specimen dates to the 1970-80s collecting efforts. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection. Fine older material from this locality.
