Beryl var. Emerald (ex Kay Robertson)

Item Description

Here is a colorful Emerald miniature from Colombia out of the Kay Robertson collection. This piece features one prominent, 8 x 8 mm, translucent, medium green crystal at the edge of the piece along with maybe a dozen, smaller, 2 to 4 mm crystals and numerous granular crystal aggregates throughout the piece along with some minor Goethite staining of contrast. The bottom of the piece host numerous, white, 2 to 3 mm bladed aggregates of Albite speckled with several anhedral crystals of green Emerald. A very representative combination piece from the Emerald mines at Chivor that will not break the bank, to own and show off.
