Item Description

Bournonite is VERY RARE from the famous mines at Naica. A 7 mm, splendent, sharp, well-striated, metallic-gray, doubly terminated cogwheel is aesthetically set on the on the impressive and artistic large combination ore matrix. The striking piece includes sphalerite, galena and iridescent golden chalcopyrite sphenoids. Scattered wheatsheaf-like glassy, translucent, colorless calcite scalenohedrons with multiple terminations, earlier generation frosted calcite rhombohedrons and a few scattered quartz points are super accessories. The underlying matrix is nearly solid sphalerite and galena. Neon-pink calcite fluorescence.
