Item Description

Here is a beautifully sculptural piece of intensely colored yellow Smithsonite from Tsumeb. It has a pair of robust "legs" at the base that tapers upward to a furrowed triangle shape with curved sides. The specimen is completely covered in glistening, tightly interlocking 2 mm crystals making for a super attractive miniature! The color and sparkle on this elevate it to a unique level compared to most yellow smithsonite, and the saturation is the highest we have seen. A highly unusual specimen, immediate and visually impactful when seen. Valued $2500-plus.
