Item Description

Dramatic variably shaped bundles of beautiful glassy gem yellow-orange calcite scalenohedrons in striking parallel growth cover all sides of this impressive large mounded 360-degree combination from the famous Minerva Mine. Patches of snow-white barite are a super contrast and accessory. Really beautiful, all around! AND, the base shows the calcite and barite grew over bi-colored, purple and yellow fluorite, as a bonus. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a bit of out-of-sight periphery wear on the back of the piece. Comes with a custom-made circular lucite base and 2.5 inch engraved triangular lucite label, valued at $225 for free. An exceptional large example of this uncommon calcite crystal habit with fine gemmy crystals and accessories from this noted locale.
