This is a highly significant piece for Ohio, and from a limestone quarry known to produce only tight, small pockets, mainly of fluorite. I grew up in Ohio and actually collected here myself in the early 1980s as a teenager, with very little luck. John Medici, the greatest Ohio field collector (EVER!), found some few pieces like this and I wonder if it came from him, but that was in the 1980s, long ago. I have not seen one of this size and significance for sale since the 1990s, myself. Based on intimate knowledge of the Ohio collections of the day, we can say that This is simply awesome for what it is, a large and complete cluster of sharp lustrous crystals to 10 cm - and without damage or repairs!
