Item Description

A beautiful blue iridescent patina coats this sculptural, arborescent, 360-degree miniature from finds 6 to 7 years ago at this well-known Chinese copper mine. The prominent doubly terminated blade on the side with the spearpoint tips is 1.7 cm long. Analysis has determined, that the crystals are an intimate association of Chalcocite, Djurleite (Cu-sulfide) and Chalcopyrite. Certainly a most fascinating, colorful and artistic example of this rare combination.
