Colorful and uncommon multi-hued smithsonite from Tsumeb. The pretty satin lustrous, translucent rounded rhombs, to 1.5 cm, have both classic pretty pink cobaltoan color with the gray color in the pink rhombs caused by the underlying matrix or inclusions. An unusual and excellent bi-colored small cabinet smithsonite plate from the Charlie Key Collection. Charlie is a prominent U.S. mineral dealer and Namibia collector, for whom two Tsumeb species are named, Keyite and Ludlockite (in part).
