Item Description

Some of the finest French amethysts have come from this less well-known locale - Les Isserts. Glistening, sharply terminated, glassy, translucent, color-zoned crystals, to 3.8 cm, form this aesthetic 360-degree small cabinet. The darker violet edge phantoms add real pizzazz. The crystals rest on striking banded amethyst and quartz, adding even more character. Complete all-around. The three large crystals are pristine. The noted contacting on the periphery, has little actual damage, and is certainly acceptable in the context of this fine specimen. Mineral specimens, in general, are seldom available from here. Excellent and uncommon amethyst from the Paul Zerfass Collection # 411 and probably dates to the 1980s.
