Item Description

This sharp copper is the rarest crystal habit of Michigan copper, CUBIC, with stacked cubic copper crystals in a cluster, forming a tower and perched nicely on matrix ! The largest cubic crystal is 1.5 cm tall, elongated in a rectangle as you can see so clearly. This is a particularly dramatic specimen for the crystal habit, but also how it is so well displayed. minor presence of a quartz in the cluster. Note the provenance, and the fact that the cluster rises so treelike from matrix, and this is an exceptional specimen. Ex George English (label dated June 4, of 1910). Keith Williams personal collection (Keith is a retired dealer, known for his taste in aesthetic miniatures, USA classics, and Colorado material. He was one of the first to bring out Bulgarian material in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and a dealer for perhaps 50 years. ). Valued $4500-6000, as this is surely one of the more rare and stylish coppers you will see in the size range, for this habit.
