Coral along with such things as Bone, Pearl and Amber is one of the few organic gems in the world. These stones are cut and polished to bring out their rich color as they often have a very dull matte luster when they are found. This "Freeform" cabochon cut gem is a beautiful creamy pinkish-orange color stone with excellent consistency of color. Please note that this stone has most likely been stabilized to help maintain its glowing warm hue, which is a common and completely accepted practice in the gem world. A beautiful stone for any collector, and larger than most I've seen from the Mediterranean Sea. Priced at $1,204.00 high retail.
