Item Description
A choice selection of exceptional Cuprite crystals featuring one large, 8 mm, lustrous crystal and several smaller crystals on Dolomite. This specimen presents magnificent morphology of the isometric Cuprite crystals that display lustrous faces and ruby red translucence with minor backlighting. The main crystal sits prominently on the piece and the other Cuprites form a couple of linked semicircles of 1.5 to 4 mm crystals on the pinkish Dolomite matrix for excellent contrast. This thumbnail was acquired mine-direct in the early 1980s and has remained uncirculated in a protective case for nearly forty years. Ex. Clive Queit and M. Frutkoff collections.
