Wow, here is an exceptional cluster of dazzling, deep green, gemmy Dioptase crystals, one of which is a whopping 4.6 cm long! Save a small amount of attached matrix on the back, this miniature is mostly Dioptase, and certainly dominated by the large crystal that displays dramatically! The big crystal is really a composite of numerous, very tightly intergrown, parallel growth crystals that are beautifully intergrown with several other smaller brilliant green crystals on either side to provide great balance and composition. The big crystal and the subordinate ones have superb luster and they are in excellent with minor contacting around the periphery. The large crystal has a rehealed termination at the top and is not terminated at the bottom - not complete, but BIG. A terrific, and very hard to come by Tsumeb Dioptase with a very large crystal!
