Item Description
A lovely little miniature sized specimen from the Sanda Hills occurrences in Republic of the Congo featuring a very sharp, highly lustrous, GEMMY, rich emerald green, doubly-terminated trigonal crystal of Dioptase measuring 9 mm associated with a few secondary Dioptase crystals sitting on tiny Quartz crystals on matrix. Dioptase is one of the most popular species with collectors, but there are few places in the world where good pieces are found these days. The specimens from various localities in Republic of the Congo are some of the finest contemporary Dioptase on the market.
