Dioptase with Chrysocolla

Dozens of incredibly intense, emerald green, doubly terminated Dioptase crystals highlight this very three-dimensional piece from Kaokoveld, Namibia. It is a handsome small cabinet specimen with crystals ranging from 3 to 8 mm in length and accented by some powder-blue Chrysocolla. It's a super colorful piece with lustrous, translucent to transparent Dioptase crystals everywhere as ridges along the top and sides as well as the body of the specimen, emphasized by patches and clumps of bright blue Chrysocolla locally. Probably originating from finds here in the 1990s. A trace of peripheral damage otherwise pristine and impressive.
