Item Description

Sculptural, arborescent filigrees of metallic silver antimonide Dyscrasite crystals are artistically growing along both sides of this white Calcite matrix. The longest of these arborescent clusters is 2.5 cm, and they vary in habit, comprised of both small, blocky crystals and bright metallic Silver. Dyscrasite is a signature species from this silver-rich vein that was mined from mid-2008 to spring 2010. It is the only mine in this well-known District that produced Dyscrasite, according to MINDAT. Aesthetic and quite showy, this excellent small cabinet piece is a highly representative example of the combination species, and locality.
