Erythrite

Multiple, diverging, fan shaped crystal sprays of highly lustrous, magenta colored Erythrite crystals to 1.5 cm are aesthetically emplaced on matrix. There are several divergent clusters composed of several fans each that boast perfectly formed, super rich, deep magenta crystals with absolutely no bruising to any of the crystals which is incredibly rare for these! These lovely Erythrite sheaves cascade down the front of this amazing piece from top to bottom and arc off to the left in a very attractive arrangement. This is a very concentrated burst of dark magenta color that contrasts well with the mottled white, pink and pale gray matrix that consists of Calcite, Cobaltoan Calcite and Quartz, respectively. This is most likely an older specimen from finds of the 1980s. A fabulous small cabinet piece! Valued $5000-plus. Specimens like this with such display power and quality are simply not available - and have not been in decades.
