Here we have an attractive matrix thumbnail sized specimen of Ettringite from what I would say is the most well-known locality for the species. A sharp, doubly-terminated, hexagonal (trigonal) prism of soft lemon yellow Ettringite sits aesthetically on host rock matrix with a bit of associated black Hausmannite on the back. A showy and good quality representation of these classic Ettringites from the N'Chwaning Mines.
