All sides of this very colorful sculptural thumbnail are richly covered with stunning shimmering chatoyant electric purple color and rare fibrous texture Sugilite. Sugilite is a rare very complex lithium silicate and is a member of the Osumilite Group. Most specimens are massive and make very colorful lapidiary material.
