Item Description
Highlighted by a highly lustrous and partially gemmy, colorless fluorapophyllite crystal, measuring 7.5 cm in length, this specimen also exhibits lustrous and translucent, pink stilbite crystals, to 2.8 cm in length. This specimen is a superb, sparkling combo piece! It is complete alla round and looks like a sparkling tower. Interestingly, it seems to have grown as a flaoter perched on quartz stalactites, which run diagonally through the cluster of stilbite and smaller apophyllites at the base. Grgeous, 360 degree specimen of an old style - although common today, this is still exceptional. From the Keith Williams Collection of miniatures and small cabinet specimens - Keith was a well known dealer and collector for decades before retiring recently.
