Gorgeous, water-clear gem, emerald-green 2nd generation fluorite cubes are aesthetically scattered on the matrix plate covered with an earlier generation of smaller cubes. The stunning beautiful classic penetration twin on the upper left is 1.7 cm wide. The 1st generation crystals are gemmy to translucent with areas of white fluorite and have water-clear to satin luster faces. The 1st generation fluorite cubes are a lighter green and have a more milky look. Very nearly pristine. The small contact on the back of the large penetration twin is mostly out-of-sight. This rich and impressive small cabinet is from recent finds at the Diana Maria Mine in the famous Rogerley Quarry. The cubes fluoresce under any bright light. Bright blue-purple fluorescence! Ex Tim Sherburn Collection. An excellent and rich example from the locale with beautiful large gem crystals. Tim was the longtime prep master for preparing and cleaning specimens from the mine, and kept some choice pieces for himself , as you see here. Valued $1500-2000
