Item Description
Several mammillary groups of Fluorite dominate this lovely miniature from Burma with surreal geometry. The rounded Fluorites have a really rich purple-blue color and good translucence with a very bright satin luster. Although the Fluorite botryoids are somewhat closely packed, the largest one measures 2.2 cm across. The underside of this piece reveals an earlier generation of botryoidal Fluorite consisting of alternating bands of pale violet and off-white in an artistic pattern. There are great Fluorites out there, but do you have one from Burma?! And teh purple hue here, is really gorgeous!
