Fluorite (attractive bi-colored crystals) with Schorl (ex Shields Flynn Collection)

Here we have a wonderful display specimen of the famous Erongo Fluorites. This small cabinet many good quality, sharp, well-formed, cuboctahedral Fluorite crystals measuring up to 2.2 cm which show a combination of rich green and rarely seen golden-brown hues. The Fluorites are intermixed with prismatic, striated Schorl crystals on the front, but the back side of the specimen is actually coated with beige/cream colored Muscovite and several small colorless Goshenite Beryl prisms. The piece is in good condition, but there are a few contacts, so it's not entirely pristine. It's rather sculptural and displays wonderfully from a few angles.
