Item Description

Some of the most iconic Fluorite specimens in the last 20+ years have come from this famous locality. This thumbnail is a fine, sharp, gemmy, beautiful green color, interpenetrant twin on a cube-diagonal twinning axis. This particular style of twinning is often seen from this locality. This form is what makes these specimens so desirable from the English lead mines at Weardale. Great color saturation for the size. The piece shows the classic purple fluorescence that is often seen in Rogerley Fluorites.
